The Teeth Of The
Feb. 20th, 2023 11:45 amOk,
It's the first tooth-removal day for The Cub.
I hate it. It feels like she doesn't truly understand how things are going to be afterwards, how the injections into the gum are not going to be easy to start with and how this is going to HURT afterwards when the meds wear off and when she bites her tongue before that happens 'because that's what happens'.
And then we have to do it all again in a couple of weeks.
I remember being sad when she wouldn't stop sucking her thumb, something which helped push her teeth more out of line; I knew this moment would come and look! Here's the nasty feeling, finally, as I remember being so frustrated with her NOT GETTING IT that the thought 'well, serves her RIGHT' arrived without remorse.
Will straight teeth help later? Yes.
Let's go with that.
Fingers crossed folks: she's only just getting over a fractured elbow.
