Oct. 21st, 2023 10:12 pmApparently I've been taking one day at a time of not p[osting since JUNE.
It's been abour four months.
The Cub has been allowed a phone (and only over-used the facilities three times) and... bloomin' BLOOMIN'.
I've had a atack of things to report and can I remember more than that?
Hollow LOL.
Bugger.
Alternative reports.
I'm sleeping better this month.
I can't get out the house to look at the weather as much.
I've hurt my foot. I damaged my foot. back when I was about 19 or 20; a horse pecked and caught my instep while I was talking to the rider. A week or so back I dropped a car off for its MOT, walked about a mile home and a mile back, later, and the top of my foot has been a complete cow since. At least the swelling is going down. No horses were involved.
I have NO idea whether I should buy another laptop screen. I'm running through a TV on this piece of hardware, with the screen uncoupled inside the laptop so that the HDMI link will take over at boot time. Apparently I have TWO screens with malfunctioning backlights. WTH?
Is it the laptop or the screen? Did I stuff up installation and fry the hardware? Twice?
Woulsn't surprse me but I'm a software guy and, while I own a multimeter, I'm more used to using it on 240V AC systems.
So.
Time to sleep!
Night ;-)
PS
apparently
i need new specs too, considering the typos I've removed :-D
